Thank you to Laina Lees for solving the mystery sounds in the marsh. Laina also hears these lovely chirps and squeaks from Cameron Bog . The sounds come from Spring Peepers, a type of chorus tree frog. Spring is the only time of the year we hear them. Only the males can make the sound and they are attracting mates. This week I was thrilled to also hear the loons. They are back!
