What is Christmas for Kids? Verona Christmas for Kids was founded in 2000. It was designed to show the community's love and concern by collecting money to buy special presents for specific kids (from baby through high school) in families who are struggling to keep afloat. Every year, the Christmas for Kids Coordinator arranges a shopping trip to choose presents with each child in mind. The presents - stylish warm clothing, books, puzzles, games and stuffed toys - are gaily wrapped and grouped by family for surprise delivery.
