Back to the old exercise regime and a healthy intake of calories. You can find help in Verona. TOPS is a nonprofit, non-commercial weight-loss support and wellness education organization. They offer support to motivate healthy lifestyle change and permanent weight loss. Free introductory meetings for potential members. Verona TOPS chapter meets weekly Mondays, 6:00 pm - 7:30 p.m. Lower Level, Verona Free Methodist Church. For more information e-mail: sue_bob_ungar@sympatico.ca.
While The Farmers Market is on a well-deserved hiatus, Trinity United Church has stepped in to fill the Saturday morning void. Plus your choice of tea, milk, juice, bagel, muffin or bottomless cup of coffee for $1.00 more. Conversation is free. Breakfast will be served from 9 am to 11 am. Trinity United Church, Verona.

The Verona Community Association would like to thank the volunteers who gave unselfishly of their time and talents to Christmas for Kids. They helped to bring joy to families during the Christmas season. Thanks to the community members who dropped off and donated toys at the Verona Hardware Store, the businesses who hosted the donation jars and the community members who dropped off cash donations in the donation jars. We all helped to make this worthwhile event a success.
The Verona Lions Hall was full of Christmas Cheer on December 25th for "Verona's Christmas Dinner Event". The food was delicious and the entertainment by Ross Clow and Crimson River was superb. What a great way to end the year!
