Snow, rain, freezing rain. Winter has thrown just about everything that it possibly can our way. But we are Canadians, eh, and we are forever optimistic. We know spring weather is just around the corner. In fact a sure sign that spring is near is the start of Daylight Savings Time. Don't forget to set your clocks one hour ahead when you go to sleep this Saturday night. Hey, you will lose an hour of sleep but no problem eh, spring is almost here.

The Catholic Women's League of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Bedford is holding an 'All You Can Eat Pasta Supper' on Saturday March 26th at the Church Hall on Westport Road. There will be 2 sittings - 5:00 to 6:00, and 6:00 to 7:00. To reserve your time, call Deb Fischer at 613 374-1071. First come, first served. $10.00 per adult. $5.00 for children ages 6 to 12. Children ages 5 and under Free. All proceeds to support the 80th Anniversary celebrations of the Catholic Women's League of Sacred Heart.

Lots to do with the kiddies for March Break. A music workshop, "Music is Fun" will be held on Thursday March 17th from 1 to 4 pm. The children will choose a theme and create a group music piece and/or a short drama sketch. $ 5.00 per child. Kids ages 8 to 12, There will also be a music workshop for adults on Wednesday, March 16, from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. K's Clubhouse is holding a March Break "Luck O the Irish" Kids Camp on March 14th 15th, 16th and 18th (no camp on the 17th). Different activities will be held each day-from making a leprechaun doll, building a leprechaun trap, to making green cupcakes and decorations for a St Patty's Day Party. $10 a day with a discount for families. Mystery Dinner theatre is coming to Verona. Partners in Crime presents The Maircroft Enigma by Robert Lawton. Join Detective Inspector Walter Langdale as he attempts to solve the mystery.
